A chapter that has again given us challenges that gave additional wisdom and experience, thus framed and shaped skills for the future. This quarter I had trouble in managing my time for I have faced different activities inside and outside the campus, but in the end of the day, I proved that every stigma has an elixir that would slowly find its way out. Learning new things and discovering the hidden adventure of my life as a grade 10 student gave me chills to continue to pursue my goals

In order to achieve our deepest goals we first need to face hindrances, some of my problem as a student is how to control my addiction on my phone, and low concentration on my studies, I confess that I am weak at memorization but in the field of analyzation I consider myself as the lion of the realm.

I address or consider these challenges as a sign or a call to change my life style, that I should have balance every situation, and manage properly my time so that I can use it efficiently... time is gold, and there are personas who are willing to help me if I need it, such as my family and friends.

Bearing of the Yuletide Season

Every person has his own priorities, his own wants and needs. Some people may choose material things, while others may prefer tangible ones such as love, peace, prosperity and good health among others. No matter what these people wish for these Christmas holiday what matters most is that the desires of their hearts are granted as long as nobody is hurt.

This Christmas season, it is important for us to bear in our minds the reason why we are celebrating this season. In this month of December, it is a especial month for us to remember that our Lord came in this world in order to save us from our sins. And it's time for us to celebrate his birth through spreading go0od vibes and love.

Christmas also guides us to be humble because our God is born only in a manger. It serves that we must keep our feet in the ground no matter how rich or wealthy we are. Anyway, the essence of celebrating Christmas season is not to have a house full of Christmas lights, having a tall and beautiful Christmas tree and giving expensive gifts. Christmas basically means sharing what you have, not just the material things but also those that can only be tight hug, a simple thank you, showing our appreciation to our loved ones and forgiveness among others.

For many, Christmas is a holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This festivity is extended throughout the winter season and immediately following the twenty-fourth day of December. Communities around the world unite with one another to rejoice the birth of their “Savior.” Many religious individuals attend church to commemorate their “King” spiritually, while others may join their families at home for a special gathering. However, growing up in a Jewish family I experienced the Christmas holiday quit differently.

Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving.

Evolution of Devopment

Gender equality is considered a critical element in achieving decent work for all Women and Men, in order to effect social and institutional change that leads to sustainable development with equity and growth. Gender equality refers to equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities that all persons should enjoy, regardless of whether one is born male or female.

Gender awareness raising aims to promote and encourage a general understanding of gender-related challenges, for instance, violence against women and the gender pay gap. It also aims to show how values and norms influence our reality, reinforce stereotypes and support the structures that produce inequalities.

Gender development raising plays an important role in informing women and men about gender equality, the benefits of a more gender-equal society and the consequences of gender inequality.

Gender awareness raising goes hand in hand with gender equality training as a way to transmit the necessary information and knowledge to take action. This is especially true for the actors involved in policy processes, as it enables them to create interventions that address women’s and men’s priorities and needs.

Nature is a gift from our Lord. Here comes everything we live for. It's beautiful and rewarding. From food, shelter, medicine and much more. It is also here that our knowledge comes out of curiosity in God's mysterious creation, which we are trying to limit.

We experience years of severe flooding, landslides, phenomena and climate change. We as citizens and all the inhabitants of the world are affected by these catastrophic and devastating changes

Our world is slowing changing which leads to a new generations of other subjects. We should be responsible for we can adopt these changes. Environment awareness is a solution in building a better world for us and to the future generations.

Ambrosia of the Youth

"Mankind owes to the child the best it has to give.” -Anonymous

“Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan,” is this year’s National Children’s Month theme. This celebration was made to set out and realize their rights in terms of education, survival, development and protection.

As parents, mother and father are responsible for providing the right kind of care for the child or even in the worst of circumstances. There is no stopping this situation. It will test the length of patience and patience of a person without pay

Uplifting all the rights of every child is a must in creating a big foundtion for the future success of the Philippines. Serving the goverment has created a big step in uplifting the childrens rights and opening them to society.

The task of promoting the welfare of children is daunting, but sustained efforts have produced some progress in the past years. Like any major challenge, every little step counts.

It also offers a vision that a child is an individual and he/she is also a part of the family and the community with rights and responsibilities appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Foundation of Reckoning

"Po, Opo, at Mano Po"
Utang na Loob
Hiya
Pakikisama

This is just some of the values that we learn at home, that even until now we still continue to act this etiquette. The 11th month of the year, is when we celebrate Values.

We learn how to act with values at home, and it even more prominent since we begin stepping at out from our comfort zone, Values should be continue to learn and teach at school because some student are reckless.

The youth is the front line of the country's army against the waves of war of ignorance, but how can we shape and mold the students with values.

This is the reason why values is one of the foundation or reckoning, let us continue to aim seemingly perfect characters of characteristic of every characters created by God, which we will use in the future.

My 2nd Reflection.htm

"Don't just stare at the horizon, explore and conquer it"

A chapter that has again given us challenges that gave additional wisdom and experience, thus framed and shaped skills for the future. The 2nd quarter I had trouble in managing my time for I have faced different activities inside and outside the campus, but in the end if the day, I proved that every stigma has an elixir that would slowly find its way out.

I had sharpened my ideas particularly by the use of html tags that create display for websites. This gave me a whole idea on how the work of websites work.

Some hindrances that I had encounter was my difficulties and fallacies in my studies, that sometimes I just to it because I need to do it, that it is going to the point where all of my masterpiece turned into useless trash.

Moreover Ill still continue to improve every aspect of my life specially in front of screens and over the four walls of the classroom.

Day of Valiance

“I am here to teach my students, not to please them”

“Grammar isn’t about pleasing the ear of the listener, but it is all on the structure”

“Ang pag-aaral ay isa sa mga regalo sa iyo na hindi kailaman maaagaw ninuman”

We have heard all of this golden phrases, from the personas who have figure us like just like a Rubik’s cube. They are the one who guides us all along the journey we choose.

About in celebration of World Teachers’ Day, I would like to share odyssey that often go unnoticed, as a way to pay tribute to the true MVPs that shape us to become better students and people.

Heroes aren’t the ones who wear capes nor person who possess special powers. The real heroes are the Teachers. They say that being a teacher here in the Philippines, does not make you rich like our politicians, engineers or even doctors, it does not make you popular like artists, singers or reporters, but at the end of the day, being a teacher gives you the happiness and fulfillment of creating and molding future leaders of our countries, future builders of establishments, future architects, nurses, pilots etc. Teachers are the root of all the other professions.

Teachers motivate and inspire students, we can never repay you not even expensive gifts and a lot of money could, because all the effort that you exert are truly priceless and we your students will be forever thankful for that. Please continue being a good teacher, as they say you are like candles, consuming itself to light the way for others.

They are not just teachers they are second parents who care not only because it’s their position to teach and give us guidance but because it’s their passion. Teachers all have affected and changed us students in many ways, because of them we have become a much better person which sometimes we know we would be able to carry out till we become a profession we want. they have changed the way we think about school, we always look forward on spending a new day full of learning and new knowledge that we are confident will continue to grow as we get older.

Their ultimate goal is to provide the best of the best education that we deserve for us to reach the level of excellence that we all want to achieve. They care for the well-being of their students. They commit their time and life for their students they also spend their own money to provide some materials needed by their students and for their visual aids that helps the discussion to be more productive and interactive

We admire their patience on dealing with us naughty students, their willingness to share their knowledge and mold each and every one of us to be mentally, emotionally and spiritually prepared to face all the trials in life.

But oftentimes, we disregard the role of teachers in our lives, looking at them as kontrabida who seemingly make our lives difficult and not fun by loading us with endless homework and projects, but no, teachers are just doing these to improve our selves, because this activity are real help to us students

To my teachers, may you continue to address the need of your students, continue to show your acts of courage and valiance, your odyssey will be passed on to the next generation, and all of this will never be forgotten. HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY

The Language that Connects

Here comes again the month which is important to every Filipino, and here I am writing an essay on how important it truly is.  August, a month long celebration to commemorate our language, the dialect that create the provinces of the Philippines as one, once a dialect that only serve in the central but now that is use to connect to a way to prosperity and unity.

Wikang katutubo: tungo sa isang bansang filipino. This year's theme seeks to instill in the national consciousness the value and role of the Filipino language and indigenous languages in building a united nation, a place of unity, and love.

Philippines is one of the few countries that houses numerous dialects, here is a fact, there are more than 130 dialects in all provinces, some are Iloko, Tagalog, Cebuano, Waray, and more.

Due to the long history of misunderstanding and conflict in the country during the era of war, Manuel Luiz Quezon establish the commonwealth constitutionso that the dialect of the tagalog should be use the national language, and same as the 1987 constitution.

We the people of this sacred motherland shall vow to preserve the dialects that our primogenitors created even though we face unecpected circumtances.

1st phase

Learning new things and discovering the hidden adventure of my life as a grade 10 student gave me chills to continue to pursue my goals

I have learned lot of lesson from different learning areas this year such as different types of series or sequence, the right trigonometry, Greek myths, types of boundaries, and the long history of internet, but what I learnt unexpectedly is how important friendship is that you are not satisfied, or your day isn't complete. It is true we need to study, but what is the use of diploma if you just the one who holds it.

Moving on, I will continue to do my best in every scenario that will come, I will embrace it whole heartedly and happily, so as my next step as a student this coming days I will continue to study hard

EAT WITHOUT GUILT

Nutritional status of every citizen is one of the priority of the government, because they want each Filipino to become a well-fitted and healthy human. In every year in the of July, we celebrate nutrition month, a sense of awareness about on how to become healthy is the key to success.
What you eat is what you are. Nowadays, healthy living is necessary to protect our self from diseases that causes us to live shorter.
Many Filipinos are prone to diseases because on how they live. It is important for us to be conscious to what we eat and what we are doing. Let us live a healthy lifestyle not a sedentary lifestyle. In this year Nutrition Month Celebration: ”KUMAIN NG WASTO AT MAGING AKTIBO…PUSH NATIN TO”.
Foods are persuasive, but be conscious on what we absorb. It is not bad to eat but it is bad to eat too much. We also need to exercise to balance the lifestyle.  Because Eating healthy foods and living a proper and just lifestyle will prevent us from acquiring different illness or diseases that if severe, may cause death
health is one of the most important thing a person should look out to in his life. Being healthy will give us a positive outlook about living our lives to the fullest. Exercising or doing activities is also beneficial to burn the energies that you had consumed to prevent gaining of unwanted weight that is unhealthy
Ilocos Sur National High School specially the TLE DEPARTMENT is celebrating Nutrition Month on the month of July. "KAHANDAAN KALASAG KONTRA SAKUNA'T PELIGRO"

Disasters are phenomena that we can never predict, but we can be prepared. Preparedness to any kind of disasters by be our shield to save our precious life from danger. We are resilient in every imminent scenario that could bring us harm and danger. Disaster happen beyond our control, we must learn how to adjust and find a solution. Being ready is and always be a must.
President Rodrigo Duterte signed Executive Order 29 series of 2017 which it stated that we should commemorate the awareness of Disaster Resilience in the month of July. Philippines is a tropical country and located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, and alongside the pacific ocean so we Filipinos experience a lot of disasters. We have to be ready in any disaster that takes upon the country.
In homes and schools, we should always have an emergency survival kit which contains different things or necessities that you needed the most. It is important to know what steps or actions are you going to do if there are disasters. Saving local emergency hotlines is also a must and we should listen and follow the plan our local government created in case of serious situations. It is also important to remind yourself not to panic so you could think of a better way to survive and save others.
No living thing or anything that exist in this world that is immune to disasters.  We can ready ourselves and try to be always prepared in every disaster that we can face. Always be ready and prepared so that we can be calm in every disaster that may come. Readiness is a must in any disaster prepared. As they say, if you stay ready, you won’t have to get ready.
Being resilient doesn’t mean that a person does not experience difficulties or distress. we need to be resilient to be able to withstand and recover from any difficult situations such as the disasters that will come. So we must ready ourselves in case one will come
we are annually raising awareness of what we should do in times of disasters through the Disaster Resilience Month Celebration. Because having little knowledge is much better than knowing nothing at all. It is always better to be prepared in everything to overcome challenges we conquer.
This year’s Disaster Resilience Month Celebration has the theme “Kahandaan sa sakuna’t peligro para sa tunay na pagbabago.”Disasters can unexpectedly occur, we should know what to do during and after disasters to avoid possible damages.

DON'T QUAKE WITH FEAR

Earthquake can be compared to a nuclear bomb, because anytime it will just explode, and the worse is no one is prepared to face it. It can be a monster to every Filipinos. A monster that will change everything in its surrounding that will leave a lifelong mark. We cannot escape the possibility of experiencing this kind of disaster. So we should be strong and resilient to encounter this and set every remedy to wage war on ignorance on preparedness.

The Philippines frequently experiences seismic and volcanic tremors because it lies along the Pacific Ring of fire, which is an area in the basin of the Pacific Ocean where a large number of earthquakes shook parts of the country. For us in academe, it is best to prepared and ready for all eventualities, because no one can predict when earthquake will happen. School cannot be closed in advance planning, everyone in our school community can be prepared to react appropriately during and after the occurrence of an earthquake.

Earthquake drills are observed all places in the country because the possibility of having an earthquake is inevitable. Duck, cover, hold are the first step to safety. Teachers in different schools are instructed and the students should be familiarized with the sounds they hear, signs they sign, and everything that is happening around them.

Earthquake drills is monumental to our lives as students and because of that I consider that students are prepared, especially in ameliorating the effects of disaster. But these are useless if the students or participants of the drill take it seriously. What if it was a real earthquake? Will they still laugh and act like children? Will they still act sluggish and show that they don’t care?

The government pushes students to be prepared for disasters especially earthquake, and as objective of the citizens to be prepared and to oriented. We are mentally prepared and emotionally stable. And as students, we should also show our sober-sided attitude in these kinds of authorities so that when the real earthquake strikes.

Remember those we should Remember

We Filipinos live in a country or society in which we have the freedom in everything,  freedom to speak and to do everything we wondered about, but sometimes we violate and overdo our freedom, we reckless things, sometimes violent.
Freedom should be treated with precaution because, in every action we implement, there will always be the consequences. Our heroes may give us freedom so we should use it properly.
But We are a generation in search of heroes because we have forgotten those who laid down their lives for freedom and country. If we learn to recognize, value, and honor their sacrifices, we will be able to see and appreciate the heroism of all people in the past.
Dr. Jose Rizal who awaked the forgotten curiousness and opened the eyes to the unfortunate events during the dark ages of the Filipinos, general Antonio Luna that continued to defend his motherland despite his fellow Filipinos who betrayed him to President Elpidio Quirino who forgive his enemies even though they killed his family during the Japanese regime. These are few stories will continue to give us the beacon to remember that they were the ones who save us, lift us, and help us to attain and achieve freedom, and perhaps then we will finally realize that they are our heroes we have been longing for, the heroes of the country that should not be forgotten.
These  few stories should  be continue to be told and should always be remembered by the Filipinos, Filipinos  who thanked all those in the past because they sacrifice not just the simple things but they offered their life to the Philippines that rendered the way for us to achieve freedom.
We must summon courage and responsibility. Engrave this to our heart and mind the heroism of all of our savior.

Dream in a Sleepless Paradise

In our wild and unknown universe, sometimes we are just like a lost child wondering on how to find our way home, waiting for the polaris to guide us in the path on the greatness we aspire, reach every possible dream, refused to be average. let your heart soar as high as it will.
