The Language that Connects

Here comes again the month which is important to every Filipino, and here I am writing an essay on how important it truly is.  August, a month long celebration to commemorate our language, the dialect that create the provinces of the Philippines as one, once a dialect that only serve in the central but now that is use to connect to a way to prosperity and unity.

Wikang katutubo: tungo sa isang bansang filipino. This year's theme seeks to instill in the national consciousness the value and role of the Filipino language and indigenous languages in building a united nation, a place of unity, and love.

Philippines is one of the few countries that houses numerous dialects, here is a fact, there are more than 130 dialects in all provinces, some are Iloko, Tagalog, Cebuano, Waray, and more.

Due to the long history of misunderstanding and conflict in the country during the era of war, Manuel Luiz Quezon establish the commonwealth constitutionso that the dialect of the tagalog should be use the national language, and same as the 1987 constitution.

We the people of this sacred motherland shall vow to preserve the dialects that our primogenitors created even though we face unecpected circumtances.
