ep 10

things I learn from ep 10 is that when we take the initiative to act we will be able to unite easier, participation is only effective if we have communication to everyone, we should able to perform our part in making our community a better place. lastly the youth is a important part of the nation

Ep 8

I strongly believe that if all people are open-minded, the problems in the world will be reduced, it is not an impossible feat, yet its a long term plan, if we are open-minded we will able to accept anything of course with weighing the pros and cons.

Dance improv is a way to tell our stories and express emotions

Ep 7

Helping others is driven us by concerns and motivation to create practical and positive changes to the lives of others, but sometimes we tend to forget our selves in the process, we always give yet we never receive, this might be ok as the saying goes 'dont expect anything in giving' but how can we give if we dont have anything left.

Life is an improv. once you did something you can not undo it but the best way to cope with it is just enjoy the moments that we met.

Ep 6

'Ano ba ang ambag mo?' Is the statement popularized during the pandemic, because of the scandals by big corporations and famous personalities, but if you ask me of what are my contribution on my nation are: first, Im eagerly motivating to educate and learning new things myself, second, Im following the protocols about covid-19, lastly making sure that my surrondings is cpean thru doing the 3R's.

Im npt a fan of rap, but I appreciate it, but this days most of rap's themes are about earthky pleasures, selfish desire, and gore stuffs, which for me is a big no no. On the other side of the coin, some rap like upuan and tatsulok, makes my heart say oppsss, because it voices out the inequality in the system.

Ep 5

In life, I have been xposed to challeges, one thing that I dealt with is my identity, I am afraid that they will judge me for who I am, so I masked my emotions, just to put everything in check, but unexpectedly I learn that this will never be a solution but only an escape, so instead I let them see who I am.

After that, I discover another way on loving myself is by funding my needs and sometimes wants, checking my mental health and minding my safety, the gov. Is the one responsible on guarding  our rights, so why shouldnt we also do it?

Ep 4

Without art, the life we have been living will bw dull, that saying it is essencial for us to have it, but for some they will just it in a surface value, but others they depict the real message behind why the colours that been paintes are used.

During the pandemic, I tyr to imrpove myself be reading a lot of novels to gain knowledge, ans as a bonus I see the world in the shoes of different personas, one thing I learned is the right that he possess have heavy responsibilities so be sure to use it without malice

Ep 3

We shared differently, we are separeted by our unique behaviour and wide heritage yet webare standing in the same ground to which we can protect ourseleves form abuses.

They say that voice alone is powerful in expressing opinion versus ill actions but if it is added by action this will be an unstoppable force, like dances, our emotion will be poured outward that this will begin to influence change in our community.

Ep. 2

In our wild and unknown universe, sometimes we are just like a lost child wandering in the abyss, and sundenly the melody of tranquil music is waiting for us to find ourselves like the polaris that always refused to be average, and it only wants to lit up the sky at night.

Since the day of our birth, we tried to immitate sounds until it evolved to word and sentences, that we cam freely express the way we feel, one ways is music, hence during the pandemic it gives peace of mind, and it is also a way to voice out our opinions about the wrong doings on our surrondings, we must fight for what is right.

Episode 1

Everyone have dreams, a hope for our fate, our future, and destiny, but suddenly we face a major crisis that change our point of view to the event of our lives. During the first quarter of the implementation of quarantine, I thought that this will be ok, that this pandemic will just by like any other exruciating events, yet I become a little anxious day by day on what to feel, I begin to crave and seek for affection, thankfully my family is with me, I lean on them. Then eventually I adjust bit by bit, first step was I binge alot of series, anime ,and movies, and read manga and light novel.

I cant believe people is treated with prejudices, such a disappointment that filipinos still have the 'crab mentality'. So because of this I remember some scenarios from the novels I read and of course I learned on themthat we should fight for our rights, especially for us minors taht for some of us are easily decieved and used. We should always remember that the rights is a paet of us that we should always perform.

Save Yourself

Depression, depression, is now a living monster living in everyone of us. It is our arch nemesis , the worst threat we currently face, breathing with a deal with a heavy heart and running tears, really it is hard.

life is full of problem that is the reason why some suffer depression. it is a serious medical condition yet others just consider it as just an imagination. They just say that " nasa utak lang yan", " sure ka?, na diagnosed ka ba?" these phrase may seem like simple in a plain sight, but if we dig deeper, this will sure struck through every heart.

we may face some hindrances such as stress, being anxious, addiction and others, let us not consider these us a bad experience but a pedestal for us to improve.

let us be aware of this mental condition, this should be cured, no person deserve to make through this, let us stand together, with the help of the Almighty, we human with a golden heart can defeat and finally we can say we surpassed it.

Completion Reflection

I still remember the day when Mrs. Vera Cruz asked us to create a blog about Independence Day. I was too clueless on what I'm going to post to make my blog somehow catchy. In there, I learned the concept of having my own article and expressing my thoughts in my own words. Honestly speaking, I had a hard-time in making my own blog. It became a challenge to me to have improvements in every blog we will be having. For the last time in junior high, this will be my last blog post.

Many concepts were taught to us. One of the concepts I learned is the Adobe Photoshop. We were taught how to make and edit in Photoshop. Our teacher taught us how to use the tools in Photoshop. Our project for this grading is creating our own edit using Photoshop
and promoting ur school, ISNHS. We were again tasked to post our blogs.

I will continue to post in my blog account. I will continue to become a blogger. I will also continue to have the references below my article. I will apply all the concepts our teacher had taught. I will continue to use Photoshop.

But the thing is I was never interested in group activities because it always irritated me but after how many months of being with the same people i found it enjoyable for some reason.

Then it hit me, those countless days that we have been together, not only school hours but also during Saturdays and Sundays because of our requirements, these days made us closer than ever. We shared the pain of losing, we shared the joy of winning and we shared the love of a family.

Foundation Of Education

A very important day of our beloved school, Ilocos Sur National High School, as it's 118th Foundation Day. Well it's different from the Foundation Day for the past years. The event took longer than we expected.

High school day celebration is one of the most awaited event of every ISNHS student. It will be expected to be busy, exhausting, or even messy day but, I will surely a great day too. Different activities such as the field demonstration is fun to watch because of its wonderful aura that is coming from the students. The alumni are also there to help us in celebrating that special day. And of course, we can't forget the dance moves of our beloved teachers that danced gracefully which made the crowd a lot more hyped. In short, this day is a unforgettable day in each and everyone of us. But that doesn't end there, there are more still to come in the next generation.

The field demo didn't held immediately after the parade this year. The celebration may be simple, but it gave the students an entertaining event. And I hope this will continue through the next school years.

Those Little Big Heights

Everyone has a dream to fulfill. A dream of our future, our fates. And our destinies. Dreams helps us to build our future. Dream big, work smart, and think big. And dreams guides us want we want to be in the future

Everybody has dreams that we want to achieve. Dreams of becoming successful in our lives, in our family, in our future. Well as we know, dreams do not always come true, it takes hardwork, dedication, consistency and other traits in order to achieve your dreams.
I have a dream, becoming a Engineer Lawyer, yes I know that it's a big dream and it seems impossible for me but I want to push myself to do my best. I want to own cars have a good life and a good family too.

I'm currently a Grade 10 student in ISNHS, I may not be as hardworking, as intelligent, not as responsible as other students but I believe that all of us can achieve our dreams if we do our best to become the person we want to be in the future.

Our dreams are our future so we must dream high in order to bring the best in ourselves. Until our good is better and our better is best.

Our dreams in our life can be affected by many factors. One factor is your family. They can influence what dream are you going to choose. Another is your friends and teachers. No one can dictate what you will choose to dream. It's all up to you. Follow your dreams.

Festivity of Roots

The old and the new in Ilocano culture are both featured in this year’s Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, the festival of Ilocos Sur that celebrates its being a separate province from Ilocos Norte, and its being a treasure chest of traditions and culture.

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage

Held in this city on Jan. 28 to Feb. 17, the festival opened with the residents’ expression of gratitude to the blessings of God on Jan. 28. Government workers from national and local offices, public officials and members of non-government organizations united in the Holy Mass concelebrated at Saint Paul Cathedral in this city, and the procession afterwards. As people of faith in the Christian world, Ilocanos gather in their religious events on special feast days of patron saints.
One mission of the festival is paying more attention to the children. It is because of the observation that many traditions, songs, dances, and other Ilocano culture are not recognized by the younger generations of the province. Instead, children are paying more attention to the modern and novelty dances they see television than the traditional ones. It is one of the reasons why the Kannadiwan Festival is conducted.

Don't Change

Don’t Change Yourself. Improve Yourself

In my life, I have been exposed to a challenge called change. Change can occur in many different ways and is dealt with in many different ways. I have come to the awareness that change can be the deepest of all things. I always thought that change occurred when you moved to a state or when you lost someone real close to you.

It is futile trying to change conditions out there because life is constantly changing. It is like trying to keep plates spinning on a stick while more plates are added. You cannot keep up, and they will eventually come crashing down.

Now, I am not naïve and know this Utopian reality will not miraculously emerge overnight, if at all, within the coming decade. Yet, undertaking personal development will not only help you but influence those around you.

I admit it is difficult to focus on what is right in the world when we are governed by our internal state, which gets the better of us. The media adds to the negativity by reporting bad news to promote fear, and it becomes challenging to break the spell.

Heal yourself first by integrating your shadow self and be mindful of your thoughts leading you down a path of negativity. If you do this often, you will break the cycle of incessant thinking that dictates there is something wrong with the world. It is worth the effort to your personal growth.

Viva Vigan

Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta. The Festival, which will be held until Jan. 27, corresponds with the commemoration festivity of Vigan's cityhood and its yearly celebration out of appreciation for St. Paul.

They are joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians.

There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as a visiting carnival.  The city has a longganisa-themed parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made.Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition.

Though other manufacturers have tried to copy the Vigan longganisa taste, they have not been successful. Biguenos attribute this to the fact that the making of Vigan longganisa is a centuries-old tradition of the local makers and all if not most of the ingredients used in making the native sausage is sourced from Vigan. Vigan’s garlic and sugarcane vinegar are said to be more strongly flavorful. It’s a great take-home gift after partaking in a Vigan City Fiesta.
The festival has become a crowd-drawer as Vigan longganisa, a native version of Mexican salami, has a distinct garlicky taste that has become a favorite of the Filipino palate.

The festival has turned into a group cabinet as Vigan longganisa, a local rendition of Mexican salami, has a particular garlicky taste that has turned into a most loved of the Filipino sense of taste.

Year for Change

The New Year is a great time to reflect on the changes we want to or need to make, I am a student looking at ways to improve thyself and make the transition to senior high school easier

Commit yourself to getting good grades. Good grades are entirely necessary to get into a good school unless you’re a top notch athlete. The best case scenario is that you have good grades from the beginning.

Stop procrastinating. How often have you underestimated how much time it will take to get something done? Then, how sad are you when you don’t have the time to do your best. At some point, the procrastinator has to write four college essays in one night – on top of completing schoolwork. Usually, this doesn’t turn out so well. If you finish a project earlier than you thought you would, then consider yourself ahead.

Don’t do it all. It’s better to concentrate on a few things and excel in them than if you join every sport, activity and club that you can cram into your schedule. Anyone can join 10 clubs and be marginally involved in them all. Schools are looking for commitment that shows you’re willing to stick with something and make the most of it.

Banish the self-doubt. Doubting your own abilities only holds you back from achieving what you want to achieve. Just say no to these thoughts and others like“I can’t do this.”, “I’m not as smart as my classmates.”, “I’ll never get better than a 2.7 grade-point average.” “I’ll only get into a community college anyway” “There’s no point in thinking I’ll get into my first choice college.”

This year is my year, and I will claim it
