Day of Valiance

“I am here to teach my students, not to please them”

“Grammar isn’t about pleasing the ear of the listener, but it is all on the structure”

“Ang pag-aaral ay isa sa mga regalo sa iyo na hindi kailaman maaagaw ninuman”

We have heard all of this golden phrases, from the personas who have figure us like just like a Rubik’s cube. They are the one who guides us all along the journey we choose.

About in celebration of World Teachers’ Day, I would like to share odyssey that often go unnoticed, as a way to pay tribute to the true MVPs that shape us to become better students and people.

Heroes aren’t the ones who wear capes nor person who possess special powers. The real heroes are the Teachers. They say that being a teacher here in the Philippines, does not make you rich like our politicians, engineers or even doctors, it does not make you popular like artists, singers or reporters, but at the end of the day, being a teacher gives you the happiness and fulfillment of creating and molding future leaders of our countries, future builders of establishments, future architects, nurses, pilots etc. Teachers are the root of all the other professions.

Teachers motivate and inspire students, we can never repay you not even expensive gifts and a lot of money could, because all the effort that you exert are truly priceless and we your students will be forever thankful for that. Please continue being a good teacher, as they say you are like candles, consuming itself to light the way for others.

They are not just teachers they are second parents who care not only because it’s their position to teach and give us guidance but because it’s their passion. Teachers all have affected and changed us students in many ways, because of them we have become a much better person which sometimes we know we would be able to carry out till we become a profession we want. they have changed the way we think about school, we always look forward on spending a new day full of learning and new knowledge that we are confident will continue to grow as we get older.

Their ultimate goal is to provide the best of the best education that we deserve for us to reach the level of excellence that we all want to achieve. They care for the well-being of their students. They commit their time and life for their students they also spend their own money to provide some materials needed by their students and for their visual aids that helps the discussion to be more productive and interactive

We admire their patience on dealing with us naughty students, their willingness to share their knowledge and mold each and every one of us to be mentally, emotionally and spiritually prepared to face all the trials in life.

But oftentimes, we disregard the role of teachers in our lives, looking at them as kontrabida who seemingly make our lives difficult and not fun by loading us with endless homework and projects, but no, teachers are just doing these to improve our selves, because this activity are real help to us students

To my teachers, may you continue to address the need of your students, continue to show your acts of courage and valiance, your odyssey will be passed on to the next generation, and all of this will never be forgotten. HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY
